We’ve known about Hague for many years. Hague has done some work for a couple of good friends and we had very positive feedback from them.
We couldn’t visit the Hague showroom so we appreciated the flexibility of the team to connect with us over Teams. We had a lot of video chats and everyone was available regularly which made life a lot easier.
As our practice refurbishment was a large project, we shopped around a bit to get a feel for pricing and the level of service and expertise available. Hague was very competitive on price and we quite liked the service we received from them. James (Sales Manager) wasn’t pushy at all but rather very patient with us. Hague quickly got all the quotes and plans over to us. We even purchased additional equipment halfway through and again it was all dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Hague had worked with my building contractor quite a few times before and for us that was really important that they had a really good working relationship; and it showed as they worked together seamlessly with no issues on that front at all, sticking to budget, and meeting all the deadlines.
Layout-wise, we had an idea of what we wanted and shared that with Hague and they tweaked the surgery layouts somewhat and made several recommendations. The layouts they recommended work quite well as we had a chance to test it with all the different types of treatments we offer, from basic dentistry up to implant dentistry.
Our handover training has been delayed as the new compressor failed the inspection. Hague arranged a loan compressor and swapped it out the very next day and sent the faulty compressor to the manufacturer for assessment.
We selected Belmont chair packages as it’s a workhorse. We had a Voyager before so we knew what we were getting; it’s a cost-effective and reliable package. We had no issues with the previous chairs and we wanted consistency throughout the surgeries as well. You know, familiarity, consistency, usability.
Our favourite part of the new practice is the space we have now as we were in a porta cabin before. We also have an OPG now so we no longer have to refer patients out.
We’ve learned that if you’re planning a project like this, engage people very early on. Projects are not straightforward. You might tweak plans or change many things so it’s important to sit down with your build team and your equipment company and plan the project together.
Right from the beginning and throughout the project, Hague’s team had been very helpful and very responsive with the service they’ve given. They are very knowledgeable and added a lot of value to our project. And even when we had a problem with the compressor, they prioritised keeping our surgery running. They’ve been great with any minor snagging we had and nothing’s too much hassle for them. We’ve had a great experience. We highly recommend them to anybody looking to refurb.
