"Dentaid The Dentaid Charity is very fortunate to have wide-ranging support from Hague Dental which covers fundraising, employee engagement and the donation of time, skills and equipment. The partnership started when Hague was looking for a challenging way to engage their staff in a charity team building exercise.  They settled on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge which saw more than 30 staff raising over £9,100 for the charity.  Weeks later, an opportunity presented itself for Hague to further support Dentaid by equipping and fitting out the charity’s newest mobile dental unit.  Designing a surgery to fit in the space presented a unique challenge but Hague’s engineers overcame the technical challenges to install the dental chair, x-ray, delivery cart and other equipment they donated in record time as the vehicle was desperately needed for charity dental clinics.  Since then, the dental has been used for well over 100 clinics for people experiencing homelessness, harm, poverty and abuse.  Patients include rough sleepers, those undergoing treatment for head and cancer, survivors of domestic violence and people using foodbanks and other support services. Thousands of treatments have been carried out by volunteer dental professionals which have helped the most vulnerable people in our communities out of dental pain and feeling more confident in their smile."
